Game Systems
4PvP Mode
Ananta has confirmed it will include player-versus-player (PvP) mode. Unlike the purely PvE main story and rift exploration, PvP mode allows direct combat between players. Specific rules, arena formats, and reward systems are yet to be announced by the official team. This mode adds competitive depth and long-term engagement.
Shared Wardrobe
Ananta's confirmed costume-sharing system allows multiple characters under the same account to share unlocked outfits. Once a player obtains a costume, all characters whose body type fits can wear it, without repurchasing the same style for each character. This design greatly lowers the cost of collecting appearances and extends the game's 'no gacha, experience-first' philosophy.
Character Acquisition
Ananta has no traditional gacha system — confirmed by outlets such as Famitsu. Characters are unlocked mainly by advancing the main story, completing specific quests, and world exploration, rather than relying on random draws. This design lowers the acquisition barrier, making character collection emphasize game progression and exploration depth over probability and payment.
World Exploration
Ananta centers open-world exploration as a core gameplay pillar. Players freely traverse Nova City's districts (Old Town, Shorewater, Central Business District, etc.) and the underground passages, using each character's unique mobility — such as the Captain's chaos-tentacle swinging or Taffy's motorcycle riding — for three-dimensional exploration. Rifts, hidden quests, and collectibles are scattered across the world, encouraging deep exploration.
