“PC specs are out! A GTX 1060 is all you need — the optimization deserves respect.” That was the title of a hot TapTap forum post the day the specs landed. When a spec sheet draws a “respect the optimization” reaction, the numbers must be below what people expect from an urban open world. Here are the official ANANTA PC requirements, split into 6 things worth checking — what is traceable, what is still pending, and what it means for your machine.

1. The table first: the two tiers announced in late August

On August 26–27, 2026, the ANANTA PC requirements were published via the official newsflash and a consistent media cluster (TapTap flash, Youxiniao Aug 27, Erbing Aug 29, among others):

ItemMinimumRecommended
CPUIntel i5-9400F / AMD Ryzen 7 3700XIntel i7-12700K / AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
RAM16 GB32 GB
GPUGTX 1060RTX 3080
Storage40 GB100 GB

This matches the pcSpecs table on our game-info page item by item. One caveat: the late-August announcement covered CPU / RAM / GPU / storage only; the OS row (Windows 7/8/10) comes from an earlier circulating spec set. Treat the client page’s own labeling as final when it appears.

ANANTA PC requirements: minimum vs recommended, four items side by side

2. Why a 1060 holds up: it isn’t only “good optimization”

The GTX 1060 is a 2016 card carrying a 2027 open world — the key variable is NVIDIA DLSS:

  • DLSS 4 confirmed at launch: the official release and launch-date coverage both confirm DLSS 4 support on PC at launch.
  • DLSS 4.5 to follow: the official August 27 announcement states ANANTA will add DLSS 4.5, including super resolution and dynamic multi-frame generation; the game world features ray tracing, and the upgrade enables higher frame rates at better image quality.
  • No date for 4.5: the announcement gives no timing, so treat DLSS 4.5 as to-be-confirmed rather than “available on day one”.

In other words, DLSS underwrites the floor of the 1060 tier, while the recommended RTX 3080 corresponds to the ideal spot where ray tracing and high frame rates coexist. The gap between tiers is not “playable vs unplayable” — it is “runs vs runs beautifully”.

3. Between 40GB and 100GB: what the 60GB gap is for

The recommended tier is 2.5× the minimum’s storage, and the extra 60GB most plausibly covers higher-resolution asset packs and headroom for future content. Two suggestions:

  1. Plan for 100GB: the launch lineup includes two cities, and the developer interview put playable content at roughly 100 hours per city, with years of post-launch updates to come. Leave generous storage headroom.
  2. Prefer an SSD: urban open worlds stream heavily and are sensitive to random reads; a roomy HDD will still feel slow.

4. Our audit: putting the spec sheet next to our own toolbox

Beyond hardware anxiety, an in-house accounting helps. Method: a live count of our own src/data/tool-modules.ts and src/data/game-info.ts (Sep 29, 2026):

  • All 12 tools on this site are browser-based, 0 GB downloads — tier list, team builder, countdown and cheat sheet never touch that 40GB, on any device with a browser.
  • The pcSpecs table on our game-info page has 5 rows; the CPU / RAM / GPU / storage rows match the late-August press cluster verbatim (CPU models now synced to the officially published ones), while the OS row is the only one from the earlier circulating set — which is why we flagged it separately in section 1.
  • Our 15 character profiles and 14 weapons are also readable without downloading anything — PC-build waiting time is study time.

5. Not on PC? PS5 and mobile, briefly

  • PS5: consoles have no PC-style spec sheet; the game runs to console spec with no self-checking needed.
  • Mobile: the official list of supported iOS / Android devices and minimum OS versions has not been published — to be confirmed, and we recommend no specific phones.
  • Cross-platform progress: whether progress syncs across PC / PS5 / mobile has no traceable official line either; same pending label, and rumors are not accepted.

There are 108 days to the January 15, 2027 global launch — see the live release countdown tool. Specs will not shrink in that time, but the official site may still fill in OS and mobile details; bookmark this page and we will update it.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Can a GTX 1060 really run ANANTA at minimum settings?

Per the official PC requirements published in late August 2026, the minimum GPU is a GTX 1060, and DLSS 4 is confirmed at launch. Anything below that has no official line and no guarantee. The recommended tier is an RTX 3080 for ray tracing and high frame rates.

How much storage does ANANTA need — 40GB or 100GB?

40GB minimum, 100GB recommended. Given two launch cities and years of post-launch content, reserve 100GB on an SSD from the start.

Does ANANTA support DLSS, and when does DLSS 4.5 arrive?

Yes. DLSS 4 is confirmed for PC at launch, and the official August 27 announcement adds that DLSS 4.5 (super resolution + dynamic multi-frame generation) will follow. No date was given, so it stays to-be-confirmed.

Is Windows 7 in the requirements the final word?

Not necessarily. The Windows 7/8/10 row comes from an earlier circulating spec set; the late-August official announcement covered four hardware items and did not restate an OS line. Wait for the official client page’s own labeling — we will track it.

Do PS5 and mobile have system requirements?

PS5 runs to console spec with no self-checking; the official mobile device and OS list has not been published yet. Cross-platform progress across PC / PS5 / mobile likewise has no official line at this time.
