Core Characters In-Depth
Captain — The Battle Commander Who Turns Everything Into a Weapon
Basic Info:
- Identity: A.C.D. Task Force Captain, codename “Infinite Trigger”
- Affiliation: A.C.D. (Anti-Chaos Directorate)
- Personality: Seems laid-back and rebellious, but fiercely protective of his own
Core Weapon: Chaos Tentacles
Captain’s combat core isn’t a traditional weapon — it’s the Chaos Tentacles extending from his back. This system has three unique functions:
- Grab Anything — Street signs, trash cans, car wrecks… every object in the city can be grabbed and used as a temporary weapon
- Aerial Swinging — Tentacles can attach to building surfaces for Spider-Man-style sky traversal
- Chaos Attacks — The tentacles themselves can slam, sweep, and pierce. Damage scales dramatically when charged with Chaos energy
Combat Verdict:
- ✅ Highest mobility in the roster — “I fly, I don’t deal with traffic” is not a joke
- ✅ The grab-anything mechanic makes every fight dynamic and fun
- ✅ Strong burst — one combo can obliterate low-to-mid-tier Chaos Entities
- ⚠️ Tentacles transmit pain when hit, so manage your distance carefully
- ⚠️ When Chaos energy is depleted, tentacles temporarily deactivate
Recommended Combo: Tentacle grab object → Aerial swing assault → Object slam → Tentacle pierce to finish
💡 Captain is the protagonist with the highest screen time. Strongly recommended to prioritize building him.
Rich — The Silent Guardian in the Shadows
Basic Info:
- Identity: A.C.D. veteran, the Task Force’s tactical backbone
- Affiliation: A.C.D. (Anti-Chaos Directorate)
- Personality: Meticulous, reserved, fiercely loyal to Captain
Core Weapon: Chaos Tactical Blades (Dual-Wield)
Rich wields a pair of black short blades etched with Chaos patterns that glow faint purple when activated. The core mechanic is the Dual Blade → Blade Shadow Fusion stance switch:
- Dual-Wield Stance: Fast thrusts, slashes, and parries — ideal for stealth assassination
- Fusion Stance: The twin blades merge into a long blade, releasing Chaos blade shadows that create a “physical blade + shadow blade” double-strike system
Combat Verdict:
- ✅ Best stealth in the entire roster — assassination missions are his playground
- ✅ Fusion stance blade shadows have smart tracking — extremely efficient against elites
- ✅ Solid defensive posture with reliable crossed-blade parries
- ⚠️ Limited attack range — struggles in group fights
- ⚠️ Weak at ranged combat
Recommended Combo: Stealth approach → Dual blade thrust → Blade shadow split → Long blade heavy strike → Finisher
Taffy — The Pink Whirlwind of Firepower
Basic Info:
- Identity: A.C.D. Task Force member / Former courier
- Affiliation: A.C.D. (Anti-Chaos Directorate)
- Personality: Money-minded, energy-conserving enthusiast, but absolutely reliable when it counts
Core Weapon: Gravity Hammer ↔ Motorcycle Transformation
Taffy’s weapon system might be the most creative design in the entire game — a pink gravity hammer that instantly transforms into a pink motorcycle:
- Gravity Hammer Mode: AoE slam + Gravity field restraint + Gravity barrier defense
- Motorcycle Mode: High-speed travel + Gravity ram attack + Quick evacuation
Combat Verdict:
- ✅ Best AoE damage in the roster — mob clearing efficiency is off the charts
- ✅ Motorcycle transformation gives her incredible mobility
- ✅ Low skill floor — very beginner-friendly
- ⚠️ Vulnerable to close-range surprise attacks
- ⚠️ Weaker defense in motorcycle mode
Recommended Combo: Gravity hammer slam → Release gravity field to pin enemies → Transform to motorcycle and ram → Switch back to hammer for follow-up damage
Advanced Character Breakdown

Bansy · Control Master
Alan · Intel Specialist
Mechanika · Tech Genius
Dila · Frenemy
Thermo — Ranged Turret
Thermo is the team’s ranged fire support, using a Thermal Chaos Cannon for ultra-long-range strikes. Perfect for players who like to “stand back and deal damage,” but needs teammates to hold the front line.
Bansy — Control Master
Bansy excels at area control, using Chaos Fields to restrict enemy movement. Crucial in high-difficulty dungeons, but requires solid mechanical skill to control the field boundaries precisely.
Alan — Intel Specialist
Alan’s information network provides battlefield intel, enemy weak point analysis, and other tactical support. While his direct combat ability isn’t the strongest, the intelligence bonuses he provides in high-difficulty content are invaluable.
Mechanika — Tech Genius
Mechanika is an unaffiliated tech support character who excels at gear enhancement and tech disruption. Her presence elevates the entire squad’s equipment performance — perfect for players who enjoy “behind-the-scenes support.”
Dila — The Frenemy Heavy Hitter
Dila uses the Meteor Blade for high single-target damage with incredible pursuit capability. She appears as a boss early on and can be unlocked as a playable character later, boasting some of the highest single-target damage output in the game.
